This is a "decorative" Halloween bat that you can buy at Costco here in Los Angeles. Notice the inverted wings. Apparently the person who assembled and photographed this "poseable" vampire bat has never seen an actual bat. Or the Batman logo.

A few of the celebrity photos over the cash register at the El Coyote restaurant in Hollywood. Known in certain circles as the restaurant where Sharon Tate and her friends ate before the Manson Family made them a part of their He(a)lter Skelter during a Creepy Crawly. More recently the El Coyote became a part of the Gay Marriage controversy when one of the owners publicly supported banning it. I boycotted it for a year due to their religion-based bigotry (is there another type?), but the margaritas are so good there...
